Hello everyone,

I have been running Xitami at work connected to the internet via a DSL
circuit. We have receintly installed a T-1. I have pointed the gateway
IP address of the Xitami computer to the new T-1 circuit.

From home (or anywhere else) when I type in the IP address of the dsl
circuit within my web browser, Xitami surves up my web page. When I type
in the IP address of the new T-1 circuit, I get a time-out error.

The people who installed the T-1 circuit is telling me I need to assign
a public IP address to my Xitami web server to make it work. I have
always used a private address (192.168.0.xx) and it has worked for over
a year.

What do I need to do to get Xitami to serve the IP address of the new
circuit? I'm thinking that maybe they have a filter or something
preventing port 80 from working...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Kelly
