[Xitami] PHP works under Windows but not Linux?

I have Xitami 2B5 running under both Windows and Linux.

I'm running PHP 4.3.0 on both Windows and Linux.

Simple tests with <?php phpinfo(); ?> works with both.

$_POST['stuff'] returns what I expect when I run my webpages under Windows.

I get nothing at all under Linux from $_POST...   

Can some one point me in the correct direction please?
