[Xitami] Why another scripting language?

I am sorry if I offend anyone by saying this but...why another scripting
language? I mean that there are already so many out there, and some actually
really great and well documented that I ask myself why not embedded one of
them in Xitami (my personal preference would Python ;-).

What makes GSL so special vs say...Python?

As far as I am concerned that would save you a great deal of time and money
and make effective use of Open Source software.

Regards,
Fabien.
