[Xitami] Missing requests.

Hello.
I have problem with server.
When the server get several https requests in very short time,
some of them "disapear". I can not find any evidence of them
in Xitami logs even if I know that they was sent.

Configuration:
Xitami Pro
2 x Pentium II 800 MHz
512 MB RAM
Windows NT 4.0 SP 6a
also running Ingres 2.0 (database)
and some service processes.

Problem is worser when there is more load on the server.

Missing requests are from server which runs "Smokeping" utility,
which checks availability of the servers on the net by sendig 5 requests
(usualy pings) each 5 minutes. We use plugin which sends https requests
instead of  pings to check webserver health.
Ping request have score 5/5 (sent/recieved)
Https is usualy 5/1 during working hours and 5/2-3 during the night.

Question is:
How to decide who is responsible (Xitami vs. Windows).
Has  somebody any fix or tweak?
